2014 Quest - get the best damn seats we can find!
We are committed to finding the best truck seat out there in 2014. An ergonomic air ride seat that solves a driver's aches and pains after long hours behind the wheel. The passenger needs a good seat too - perhaps with a foot rest.
First let's start with a little about us. Because a seat is like a shoe...it has to FIT!!
I (Jerry) am 6'1", 210 lb. I drive a KW W900. I need a seat that fits and supports my aching back - and keep that numbing sensation away half way through my day.
My wife, Jen, is 5' 2". She won't let me post her weight (ha!). You know what her problem is? Her feet don't comfortably sit on the floor! And if she scoots down, the armrests are pointless. Then her lower back starts hurting. We keep a couple of books at the foot of her seat but she still isn't comfortable.
There are lots of air suspension truck seat options out there from manufacturers like Seats Inc, National Seating, Bostrom Seating, Knoedler Manufacturers, ISRI, Prime Seating, Gra-mag, Sears, Qualitex, Superior Seats and the list goes on. I've checked them all out on the internet using my friend, Google. There is some good information out there. But how do I decide without being able to sit in them? Truck stops and dealers don't have all these seats. They practically don't know about half of them out there.
Well, while we travel the country this year, we are going to keep tabs of what seats we have found to try out and what we like or don't like about them.
If you are also on the search, start cruising the internet...we tried to narrow it down a bit below with this customized search:
